Lavender Wyandottes are a rare, visually striking, and cold-hardy dual purpose breed featuring soft lavender-grey plumage, rose combs and yellow legs. They are generally docile and friendly, laying roughly 200-300+ medium-to-large cream or light brown eggs per year. These birds mature slowly (7-10 months) and require two copies of a recessive gene to display their unique color.
